Summit Station is funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Arctic Research Program and operated by CH2MHill Polar Services (CPS) with guidance from the Science Coordination Office (SCO) and in cooperation with the Government of Greenland. The CPS contract is administered by the Arctic Research Support and Logistics (RSL) Program at the NSF. For media inquiries, contact Peter West.

 

Proposing Research at Summit

Researchers Proposing Fieldwork at Summit are required to contact both the SCO and the CPS Science Planning Manager during the proposal stage.

Summit Science Coordination Office (SCO)

The Summit SCO provides input from the research community into the science support operations at Summit and on the Greenland Ice Sheet. The SCO advocates for the wider scientific community working, or considering research, in the interior regions of the Greenland ice sheet. The SCO needs input from current and potential new members of the Greenland research community regarding emerging research questions and the logistical support needed to address them. CH2MHILL Polar Services (CPS)
